The Stallion Pen
Not some fancy pen or play place for Scott and the guys to hang out, but an actual stallion pen or "run" for Ole, our beloved Fjord stallion.

Ole has a 16 x 16 covered run in and a 16 x 64 paddock waiting for him when he's not in the arena, out driving or having a date with one of his favorite ladies. Yes, that is green pasture out behind him. Sheer torture for a Norwegian Fjord.

Welcome Roma
We are so happy to announce the arrival of Cramalot's Romalea ... or Roma for short. Here is our new girl ... round as can be! Roma is a daughter of 3pr., Hall of Fame winning stallion, Gromar, who is also sire to Grand Prix level, award winning Fjord WEZ. In this photo, she reminds me a lot of the ponies we used to draw as little girls at the kitchen table. How many pencils did we go through drawing and coloring those round little things?
Roma has spent her days of late in Grayland, WA only blocks away from the Pacific Ocean. A lot of what our girl has done so far has been trail riding - both on the trails as well as the beach. We plan on adding her in to our lesson program for beginners as well as having some future plans for breeding.
She is one of those wide body model Norwegian Fjord horse. I think the stocky models are what really attracted me to the Fjord horses in the first place. They look like a big comfy couch to sit on and remind me a little of myself - short and stocky. :-)We will be holding another Open Barn weekend this Spring where we will be able to introduce our newest addition to the public.
What are your plans for this year? Do you plan on buying more horses or selling some off? Or maybe even, buying your first.

Been a while!
Wow! It's been a while since I've been on here and updated! So, Mr. Ole boy is doin good... man, he still amazes me daily. He's just so gentle and kind... Tina is away for training, and probably will be for the next month or two. I hear shes lookin pretty good. Elsie is good. She's taking care of both babys for now. Shes starting to get her pot belly again ^_^
Babys are both doing great. Both fat and happy. Sveena actually had colic almost two weeks ago. She recoverd quickly. Stuff around the farm is coming along. My parents were working on fencing today, and my mom actually got hurt. A T-post fell and hit her right on the head. She now has 9 stiches. We got a baby kitten a few days ago, and shes ganna be our little mouser. Thats all I can come up with for now, considering I'm running on only a few hours of sleep.

Upcoming trip to Wisconsin
Sooo, next Tuesday morning we’re leaving for Wisconsin to pick up our little mister! I’m so excited!! I’m finally ganna get to meet the famous ‘Fair Acres Ole’ in person, but not only that, I get to take him home with me!! Haha, I’m just so excited… We’re (Me, my mom, and Evan) are gonna be gone till the 27th. And we’re even going to the Moses Lake show and showing Ole off for those who want to see him!!
Tina and Steren are doin pretty good… he’s still suckin’ her dry! But she’s gained a LOT of weight back on… Steren is getting soo huge!!
Elsie Rose… Boy, she’s a stinker!! She’s always so bossy and pushy… haha, I’ve learned that you just have to shove her back! And her little girl, Svenna, is adorable!! I spend time out in the barn with her all the time… we both love each other very much! ;-) And she’s much nicer then Steren, she doesn’t try and nip you like he does!! Lets just say, Svenna and me are best friends :-)
My parents have been working really hard outside, trying to get the Ole paddock and barn done in time for him. And they’ve completely re-fenced the girls’ paddock, with all wood. We’ve all been doing a lot to get ready for his arrival. But the excitement keeps us going.
Well, I’ll post more when we get home! And maybe some pictures from the big trip on the website!!
